Hello, my name is Sherry Beckham, and I am the proud owner and lead instructor here at Divine CPR Plus. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field and a deep passion for empowering others, I’m dedicated to teaching essential life-saving skills to individuals, families, and businesses.

Our journey began as Be Defined Training and Companion Care, where we initially focused on providing both CPR training and caregiving services. As our mission evolved, we transitioned to Divine CPR Plus, with a singular focus on offering high-quality CPR, First Aid, and BLS training. This shift allowed us to dedicate our full attention to empowering individuals and businesses with the life-saving skills they need.

 Teaching CPR started unexpectedly when my brother, an RN, asked me to help teach a class. Little did I know, this simple request would spark a passion that has grown ever since. My first class was a small group of six people, and as I observed their spirits lift when they learned these essential emergency response skills, I knew I had found something special. It reminded me of teaching my own children something important, like tying their shoes or riding a bike—how their faces lit up when they mastered a new skill. That same joy and sense of accomplishment were present in my students as they learned CPR.

As a Medical Assistant by trade, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of being prepared for emergencies. I’ve been teaching since 2022, and every class brings me joy and fulfillment. I’m committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment where anyone—regardless of background or education—can learn how to save a life.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share these vital skills with anyone who is willing to learn. What I love most about teaching CPR is that anyone can learn it.
