CPR, AED, and Opioid Emergency Response Training​
​
This comprehensive, video-based, and instructor-led course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need to be prepared to act confidently during a cardiac or breathing emergency. The training focuses on recognizing an emergency and providing immediate, life-saving care until professional help arrives.
Key Life-Saving Skills Covered:

Adult CPR: Providing high-quality chest compressions and effective rescue breaths using a barrier device.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Learning how to safely and effectively operate an AED on an adult.

Adult Choking Relief: Practicing techniques for helping an adult who is choking.

Opioid Overdose Response (Including Narcan): The course includes vital instruction on recognizing the signs of an opioid-associated life-threatening emergency and the proper actions to take, including how and when to administer Naloxone (Narcan).
The course utilizes the American Heart Association's (AHA) research-proven practice-while-watching technique, ensuring ample hands-on skill practice. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, participants receive an official AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card, which is valid for two years.
