Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Training

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR
This course is ideal for anyone who works with or cares for children, including parents, caregivers, teachers, childcare providers, families, community groups, and businesses. Participants will learn how to respond to pediatric emergencies such as choking, breathing problems, and cardiac arrest, while also gaining skills in adult CPR. The course covers CPR, First Aid, and AED usage for both infants and children, equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to handle emergencies across all age groups.

This course provides practical, hands-on training in adult CPR, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and basic first aid techniques. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, community volunteer, or part of a workplace team, this training ensures you're equipped to respond confidently in an emergency.

  • Gain the skills needed to use an AED effectively in a cardiac emergency.

The Heartsaver® CPR AED Training course teaches participants the essential skills needed to perform high-quality CPR and effectively use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in emergency situations. Whether you are a concerned family member, community member,  a business team, this course prepares you to act confidently and make a difference in critical moments.

What this course teaches:

  • Understand the Chain of Survival and its importance in improving survival rates.

  • Recognize when someone needs CPR and respond appropriately.

  • Perform high-quality CPR on adults, ensuring effective chest compressions.

  • Provide effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

  • Demonstrate how to use an AED to deliver a life-saving shock during cardiac arrest.

This course also meets workplace requirements and is ideal for those looking to gain certification in CPR and AED for both personal and professional purposes.

Class Format: Instructor-led, in-person training.
Duration: Up to 2 hours per session.
