​​The American Heart Association ​​​​Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED teaches participants to provide first aid, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. Heartsaver® CPR AED Training
​
​
The American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED is a course for the Community that teaches fundamental, life-saving skills for individuals with little or no medical training who want to be prepared to act during a cardiac or breathing emergency.
​
The training focuses on recognizing an emergency and providing care until professional help arrives. Key skills covered are:

Adult CPR: Performing high-quality chest compressions and delivering effective rescue breaths.

AED Use: Learning how to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult.

Choking Relief: Practicing techniques to help a choking adult.
​
The course is video-based and instructor-led, emphasizing hands-on practice (Practice-While-Watching) to ensure students gain confidence and competence in these critical skills.
