American Heart Association BLS Provider is an Instructor-led class and teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.

BLS Provider Renewal
The American Heart Association BLS Renewal class is for currently certified AHA BLS Providers needing to renew their BLS certification.
Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in a review course, participants must possess a current (not expired) BLS Provider card from the American Heart Association.

Certification Issued: 2 year AHA BLS Provider eCard

BLS Skills Session for Heartcode
The American Heart Association HeartCode BLS is a blended learning course that combines an online eLearning course (sold separately) followed by a hands-on skill session with an instructor.
This course has 2 parts:
Part 1 – Online Course
Part 2 – Instructor-Led skills session
Certification Issued: 2 year AHA BLS Provider eCard
Online Course: Prior to the skills session, all participants must complete the HeartCode BLS online course thru the AHA eLearning website for $36 (sold separately).
eBook Included: The HeartCode BLS online course includes access to the BLS eBook (a $15 savings).

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR/AED certification class teaches participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Heartsaver® CPR & AED
​
This course teaches fundamental, life-saving skills for individuals with little or no medical training who want to be prepared to act during a cardiac or breathing emergency.
The training focuses on recognizing an emergency and providing care until professional help arrives. Key skills covered are:

Adult CPR: Performing high-quality chest compressions and delivering effective rescue breaths (using a barrier device like a pocket mask).

AED Use: Learning how to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult.

Choking Relief: Practicing techniques to help a choking adult.
The course is video-based and instructor-led, emphasizing hands-on practice (Practice-While-Watching) to ensure students gain confidence and competence in these critical skills. Successful completion typically results in an AHA course completion card, valid for two years.
